Pre-Halloween
So what is everyone doing today?
It's been rainy and gloomy the past few days, today is no different but..snuggling on the couch, watching Horror movies and drinking coffee with pumpkin spice creamer is a good idea :)
We will hopefully go to Six Flags tomorrow evening, weather looks good but that can change, which I hope it doesn't!

The Great Pumpkin
Sorry for the silence on here lately, husband and I have had the flu since Sunday, we're getting better now though. Hopefully we'll get to do something for Halloween :D Want to show this huge pumpkin we got yesterday.

I remember last year at Wal-Mart, they had tons of Halloween home decor. This year, not so much and a few stores around here are ALREADY picking it up and getting ready shove Christmas at us. You can see photos of last year's stuff on the blog.

Johnnie Brock's Dungeon
We got to go to a few of them around here, they're pretty great too. A fun story though of when we were walking around taking photos, another lady was trying to get a photo of the undead bride and groom hanging from the ceiling. She piped up to us and said "I know someone who's getting married today, I'm going to send them a photo of these." she laughed, we both thought it was funny too. I wonder what the happy couple thought...

The one that got away
Found these photos from last year of a pumpkin that I was going to buy but later changed my mind, why did I have to do that? It was the best one there lol

Fright Fest Video
Dark Greetings...
It's about time I posted here, and I'll start by showing you what Fright Fest should be.
Sadly, our camera does not take good video, especially at night, but I found this little gem on youtube. Enjoy.
Now that you've seen that, the time has come my children, go out, and let the haunting begin...
Mwahahaha...

FrightFest Part 2
FrightFest started yesterday so we decided to go on the first day of it. They opened up the park at 5pm but they really didn't get things rolling till about 6pm. We went on the Terror Train first, which the first part is more for kids, well the second half wasn't scary but kids might think differently lol. I got a few videos of it, I just might post them later on. I don't know if it was because it was the start of the season but there weren't many monsters roaming around the park like they say on signs and the paper they give out. They also charge 5 bucks each to go on the Haunted Hayride and 5 bucks each for The Farmhouse Haunted Mansion, buying a season pass really doesn't get you much for FrightFest though we might break down and go to one of them later. We talked to a couple while we rode the Ferris wheel and they said they used to not charge for the haunted houses. We had a great time anyway, some of the props they have in areas are great while others were meh, I love the Headless Horseman the most. Had the best Pumpkin Fudge I've had in a while too, very yummy.
